Timebomb Duels Corner Passing Guide

Corner Passing Explained

Corner passing means transferring the bomb around walls and tight angles so the receiver cannot see you until contact registers. On corridor maps this B-tier technique is devastating — open arenas barely need it.

You still need physical tag contact; corners create blind approaches and deny the victim reaction time, especially when combined with a late timer pass.

Bomb Holder Setup

Herd the target toward a wall elbow or doorway. At mid timer, cut the outer route so they commit into the corner. At roughly three seconds, take the bomb path that clips the corner geometry, then finish near one second like the 3-second trick.

If they refuse the corner, do not force it — return to open herding. Failed corner attempts waste timer against skilled survivors.

Survivor Counterplay

Stay off single-exit corridors when the holder is close. Pre-aim camera toward the corner approach. Juke out of the elbow early rather than waiting at the wall. Map Shortcuts and Chokepoints pages help you recognize trap geometry.

Map Pairing

Best on corridor and multi-room layouts. Moderate on Double-Decker (vertical play often beats flat corners). Pair with Independence-era crowded lobbies carefully — more players means more accidental third-party tags near chokes.
